| In our first show at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin, Carlow Graphics held their own and had a good 3 days at the Shop Expo 2008 show last month. The show was visited by thousands of buyers and sellers alike, shop owners to multinational companies all searching for something different in the food & drink industry. Amonngst the food & drink Calorw graphics were nestled under the supporting wing of the Enterprise Board, who had a large stall area in the arena.
Our stall at the show consisted of four back lit boxes constructed of folded dibond. LED strips were placed in behind the panels to give a Halo Effect. Our design team created digital graphics to demonstrate our abilities and list our services tying the design in with a purpose desinged and printed brochure for the event and reflecting the design colours and layout of our website. RGB type LEDS were used in the construction of the display allowing us to preprogram an automatic fade from Red, Green & Blue to Purple and Yellow. This effect looked fantastic amongst the static displays and really got us noticed. Over the space of three days we met a lot of people from different industries and this allowed us to network and discuss with industry insiders how our services can be better tailored to suit a varied marketplace. |

| Mchugh O’Leary Insurance Brokers Ltd. We were approached to create a new Brand for an Insurance Company that was looking to expand and update its original identity. Considering the company’s services and target market (Commercial Insurance) the original brand was beginning to look dated and the company needed a more uniform brand across all of its corporate literature.
We started the project by creating a new logo type and selecting colours. These colours and logo were then used to create different layout concepts for letterhead stock and business cards. While the project was continuing we applied the new brand style to the existing website making it look more modern, professional and user friendly. |

| www.nextstep.ie We have just finsihed redesigning the portal site Nextstep.ie This site offers one click access to further education and training information to second level, post leaving certifiacte students and to those wishing to continue to third level education. The new design separates the content visually using colour and imagery, this makes it easier for a new user to find what links they are most interested in quickly. The site also serves to drive traffic to the next step educational DVD store by way of a more interesting looking graphical link. |
