At the marketing week live conference in London recently, it was anounced that Carlow Graphics ltd who were already short listed for the Popai awards were nominated to go through to the finals.  Over 160 displays were entered with only 58 been short listed.
 
Popai is an International trade association for the marketing at-retail industry. This year they celebrate their 75th anniversary. Popai are marketing at retail producer companies  and advertising agencies from six continents and over 45 countries from around the world. For more than 50 years, Popai's marketing at retail awards contests, have recognized the most innovative and effective marketing at retail displays and programs which lift sales and make products memorable and enticing to consumers.
 
To be short listed for this prestigious award is a fantastic accomplishment for Carlow Graphics Ltd  , to be nominated for the final is an outstanding achivement.
 
When the recession hit ,  Carlow Graphics ltd made the decision to diversify  and so started to design and build unique retail displays. With highly motivated and skilled product -designers and craftmen, this was a natural progression.
 
Quickly after making the disision to get into this market, Carlow Graphics ltd were approched by Crown Paints Ireland to design a new concept for selling their products. It was one of these retail stands that Carlow Graphics ltd were nominated for. They have been nominated for the innovation award due to the design of what they called a true light, true colour concept to show how colours will change in different light. This unique concept was designed specificly for Crown paints and they have since trademarked it worldwide. Carlow Graphics Ltd were also nominated for the best permanent display award , the best designed and manufactured retail display in Ireland award and the best over all award.
 
The award ceremoney is being held in London on the 21st of October when Carlow Graphics ltd will be going for gold. To get recognised by such a hugh organization as Popia already has Carlow Graphics Ltd feeling like winners.

Carlow Graphics Ltd have also designed and built units for Topline hardware group, Expert electrical and designed and manufactured a TV media studio for the I.T Carlow.
